Alice – Maternity Photography

Alice is my beautiful wife and mother to my new daughter (featured in the bump of these photos!)

I’ve always wanted to do a maternity portrait shoot, and Alice was feeling a little bit pregnant and not her usual confident self… so out came a couple of nice outfits, and off we drove with a boot full of kit on the hunt for a location.

We finally decided upon the North York Moors, taking a few shots in a very blustery and exposed section just off from the main road, before dropping down into Falling Foss, a stunning bit of woodland, with bluebells and beautiful dappling light from the midday sun.

Once we’d got home and had a look at the maternity shoot, Alice was super happy with them and felt more beautiful and body confident after seeing what everyone else could see – a blossoming, glowing mum to be – it was such a lovely thing to be able to do for her!
